Founded in 1889, the Hong Kong Golf Club is one of Asia-Pacific’s leading clubs. Comprising three Championship-calibre courses at Fanling, in the northern New Territories, as well as nine holes at Deep Water Bay, on the southern shores of Hong Kong Island, the Club is a winner of numerous high-profile awards and host of the world-renowned Hong Kong Open.

Its role in the Hong Kong community is as significant and important today as it ever has been. Working hard to nurture and develop local golfing talents, as well as introducing newcomers to the sport through its various community programmes.

One of the most accessible private clubs anywhere – just under half of the total number of rounds played in 2016 were played by non-Members – the Club is the de facto home of the Hong Kong international golf teams, which have grown from strength to strength in recent times, and is also a significant fundraiser for worthy causes. Over the course of 2016, events held at the Club raised in excess of HK$18 million (US$2.3 million) for charities in Hong Kong.
